Shrimps in orange butter with herbs


  • 10-15 shrimps
  • 50g Dublin Dairy Irish salted butter
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • Juice of 1 orange
  • Grated orange peel
  • 1 tablespoon of soy sauce
  • ½ teaspoon of ginger
  • A few leaves of fresh mint, Thai basil, coriander


Melt Dublin Dairy Irish salted butter with a tablespoon of olive oil in a deep frying pan.

Add orange juice and zest, soy sauce and ginger and mix. Simmer for 3-4 minutes until the sauce reduces slightly. Then add chopped herbs and mix. Place the cleaned shrimps and fry for 2-3 minutes, then turn them over for another 2-3 minutes. When they turn pink, they are ready. Serve with rice or baguette, fresh herbs, sesame seeds and chili flakes.
